Christoph Abels

Christoph Abels is a doctoral student at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. Following his interdisciplinary interests, he studied psychology in his bachelor’s degree and then completed a master’s degree in public policy, studying human behaviour from different perspectives. He has worked in various consultancies and has worked for Rocket Internet, among others. In his research, he deals with the consequences of text- and image-based disinformation and examines its influence on democracy. He was also a member of the presidium of Polis180, a grassroots think tank for foreign and European policy from Berlin.
